1. Wow. Just...wow.
2. Waaaahhhh!
3. Great opening sequence--very witty, the way it pokes fun at clumsy exposition sequences, and keeps shifting scenes out from under the viewer.
4. Wanted more Book. Especially since I'd guess he ain't coming back.
5. Some great Wash scenes, but still--waaaahhh!
6. In the firefight with the Reavers, I wasn't sure anybody was getting out alive.
7. Joss is the Shan Yu of screenwriters.
8. You think River's creepy...try Miranda. *shudder*
9. Miss Isringhausen's cameo was great--heartbreaking and horrific.
10. Chiwetel Ejiafor--incredible. The Operative--coolest villain in a long, long time.
11. The Operative's face when he saw the Reaver ships--that alone was worth the price of admission.
12. Reavers vs. Alliance--way cooler than any space battle in Star Wars. Also, that encapsulated our BDHs' position throughout the series: caught between the Alliance and the Reavers (or other bad guys).
13. Wow. Just...wow.

Fantastic, absolutely fantastic.
Loved everyminute of it, my eyes were fixed on the screen from the second the Universal logo appeared, till well into the credits. So rare that I go to a movie and I don't once look at my watch. So rare that you watch a film and seriously don't know whether everyone's going to get out alive, there were moments when I was convinced Zoe had been killed, and that Simon and Kaylee were going to die, I would have been shocked if they had, but you could really believe that they might. I didn't even know if Mal was going to manage to beat the Operative. I was completely unspoiled (except about Wash), and my guesses about what the plot was going to be were completely wrong, every moment was a surprise, and I remembered that you never can guess where a Joss script is going to take you. All movies should be this good.
Only 6 days till I get to see it a second time, only 7 days till I get to see it a third & fourth time, only 8 days till I........ you get where I'm going.
Bring on the sequels, I can only imagine what will happen next.

It just blew my mind. As people have said before, there were moments(heck, ENTIRE scenes) where I thought that nobody would make it out alive. I'm still blown away by what they did to Wash. I think there's a part of me missing or something, arg. The battle between the Alliance and the Reavers was simply amazing. I don't think I looked away from the screen once. I will go back and see this again and again and again and....well, you get the point.
Joss is giving me a Summer Glau foot fetish lol!

I brought about 12 non-browncoats to the midnight premiere in New York last night. I ask all of the people that if they liked the movie to tell everyone they know that they liked it and if they didn't then that they should just keep it to themselves and go on their merry. Anyways...a way that I got the people initially excited beforehand was that I assigned them all characters. Once they remembered there name they were kind of intriqued already to see what would happen. I even assigned some kid Serenity. ("I was so hardcore when they strapped those bodies to me!") So that is my suggestion in possible Browncoat recruition. Movie is amazing. Love every minute. I've seen it five times!! Thank you joss.

Just in case someone stumbles on this an hasn't seen the movie:
**MAJOR SPOILER**
I loved it. I saw it a a pre-screening on Tuesday. I haven't seen it again yet this weekend, but I'm going to tomorrow, I hope.
Anyway, it was amazing. I cried though when they killed Wash. He was always my favorite character and really ripped me up. I was in shock for at least ten minutes after that. Then when Jayne and Kaylee got shot I nearly lost it again.
*claps* Most movies don't make me cry. This one did. That's a pretty big "Bravo".
Joss is boss!

Wow. (Oh, has someone said that already?)
Really, really superb. It was worth the wait. Going to see it again tonight, this time with a bunch of Browncoats.

They....killed....Wash. WOW, I didn't see that one coming. That's my ONE gripe about the movie, they should not have killed off Wash. He DID say he was signed on for more didn't he?

This movie made me feel as wonderful as if it were the very best day of my life, and it also hurt me like few things have ever hurt me before...the way that every awesome movie should. Bravo, Joss.
