I'm going, for the first time ever!

My friend (the Buffy/Fray inker) has been trying to get me to go for years, but I just don't like people enough to pay for the privelege of swimming through such a ginormous crowd.

Ah, but we have MelissaAnne (mifeng) as our guide. We're going to shackle ourselves to her since she got near-frontrow-seats for damned near everything last year. We'll only let her loose at the end of the day, and then we'll probably end up following her anyway to find all the cool bars.

It will make moving around the Convention floor a mite unwieldy but we are up to it! :)

I also hear a rumour that SNT might come?

I may, but if I do it will only be for the Saturday I think. I'm a bit crushed with vacation time this year so can't take any more days off, and as ever I left it too late to arrange rented accommodation.

I'm going. I don't like crowds either but I figure Joss will be there and, just as importantly, so are a whole herd of Goners! I have my pass and a place to stay, still trying to get through to get my airline ticket.

I have my pass (four-day plus preview night), I have my flights (in on Wednesday, out on Monday), I don't have my hotel (oops).

I have my e-ticket now - printed it this morning as soon as I got to work - so I am all set! I was doing the happy dance on Saturday!

Anyone know of any good tent cities in the vicinity of the convention center? At this point, it's either sleep under a nearby bridge, or find a hotel 5 miles away. Heh.
