Hey.
I thought I would make a separate thread, for people to volunteer specifically for pizza delivery duty, since anyone offering may get lost in the mass of comments on whedonesque.com and the other thread.

Dunno who will be the coordinator of that, but if we have a list of people (and contact info) to volunteer, as a start, it would help a lot, at least I think so.
Who wants to volunteer?

ETA 2: If people want to volunteer for food drops etc please send an email to fans4writers@gmail.com with volunteer food for thought in the subject line please, thank you.

ETA: For the full template list of volunteers see siwangmu's post below.

Regards,
Prakash

Count me in, please (I'm glad this is here, as I can't talk on whedonesque). I have an odd schedule, so I'm free during the day about half the week, but when I am free, Burbank being my home base, I'd love to help. My e-mail is siwangmu@gmail.com and I'll be happy to contribute my cell number to somebody in a less public format?

Count me in too. I'll gladly take time off work to go help.

Hey.

Well email should be fine for now. I am hesitant to organize this thing myself since I am not in LA, so whoever (and someone should) will take over organizing the pizza deliveries, who lives there would probably ask for phone numbers.

So far it seems the consensus is that Mondays would be the day to do drop offs. If you can't do monday, may I suggest to leave your availability just in case that people may decide to do more than one day or change the day.

ETA: Just a note, I left out dreamlogic's name out of the list of peeps, not as a slight, but I figured it was obvious dreamlogic was volunteering.

I'm good to go, too. Email:crymearivers@yahoo.com. I'm mainly good in the evenings, cause, you know, work, but I live close to Burbank and Studio City so it's not really a schlep. I want to help though. :). Oh, and I'm that ShadyLane chick (obviously) from Whedonesque.com.

The list as I understand it (already made a few changes):

WEST COAST
DreamLogic
? (Contact)
Hollywood (Location)
Good for Mondays? (Availability)

ShadyLane
crymearivers at yahoo dot com
Burbank/Studio City (Fox/Sony/Paramount)
Evenings are best

Swanland
(private)
?
?

Bobw1o
?
Right next to Universal/close to the other Burbank studios
Before 10am/Lunch hour

Siwangmu
siwangmu at gmail dot com
Burbank (we should be having Burbank parties, sheesh)
Mon-Wed available

FaithFan
faith_forever1 at yahoo dot com
?
?

Pliny
matiszaw at yahoo dot com
Burbank
All times!

ETA: WeHo pizza recommendation
http://www.marcoswesthollywood.com/delivery.htm.

EAST COAST
awkwardjonas
awkwardjonas at livejournal dot com
*NYC Two-Hours by train
T/W/Thurs

I only put the question marks in as a template that we could keep pasting and filling in as we go?
I think we have enough people to hit more than one studio weekly, especially in the Burbank area, but it depends on funds and such. I'm scared to organize things, partially because no one has reason to know me here and y'all might be less than enthused about, say, sending me money, but I'm eager to help.

ETA: I filled in the new stuff and converted everyone's e-mail address on the gesture of FaithFan's
kurya, if you want to copy this set onto the first post of the thread or something and maintain it, I'd be fine with that, I don't want to risk proliferation of out-of-date lists and you seem very on top of things. If not I'll be happy to keep coming and tweaking my post.

OOO thanx setting up the template... well as we get closer to next Monday, we can decide who will be the one too coordinate money etc. Dreamlogic is still getting money for the pizzas etc, so I am thinking he will be at least a coordinator if not full out participant. I can't speak for him though.

Let me see if I can fill in that info a bit more.
Prakash

PS

FaithFan has an email address at her profile: faith_forever1 at yahoo dot com

In terms of bob1wo and swanland, have no way to contac tthem directly, but I am assuming that once things are setup, can post on whedonesque and ask for volunteers again and for their email info.

I have a relatively flexible schedule, so until further notice, I should be able to do any day at any time.

I just did a drive by at ABC/Disney and honked and hooted at two strike points there. If I have more time later in the week, I might have to drop by there and walk around with them for a while.

oh, btw, I work near FOX, and kinda near Sony, I also live right next to Paramount (no idea if these last 2 places apply, but Paramount owned UPN= buffy?) so I can probably take them too if you want.

My email is awkwardjonas@livejournal.com if you need it

Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays would be best for me. At this rate (money is tight in the household) I will only be able to make it up there once a week. I'm not going up tomorrow like I had hoped, but Thursday instead.
