A totally (un)scientific exercise to find out which tune fans love the most.

It really depends on my mood. I find myself singing different songs at different time. This morning, with the sun shining on the snow, It's a Brand New Day.

Bad Horse Chorus is my ringtone, so I had to pick that one.

(...although it's actually the reprise that I use. *shrug*)

I had to give it up for "Everything You Ever," but "My Freeze Ray" and "Brand New Day" are close behind.

I had to go with "Freeze Ray," even though "Brand New Day" and "Everything You Ever" are* right up there with it. I have a special fondness for "Freeze Ray," though. So purely and simply lyrical and funny.

*As are "So They Say" and "Everyone's A Hero." Maybe I'm just not discerning? Can one have too many favorites?

You know, it's hard to choose just one, because they're all so great. It's like, I hear one song and decide that it's my favorite, and then I hear the next and decide I like it even better, and then the next, ad nauseum, ad infinitem.

That said, I'm a sucker for overlapping duets, so "My Eyes" tends to pop towards the top of the list for me. (Non-"Horrible" favorites like this include old movie musical songs like "You're Just In Love" from Call Me Madam and "Lullaby in Ragtime" from The Five Pennies. Not to mention the Giles/Tara song from OMWF.) Then again, so does, well, everything else, so, really, it's hard to judge.

"My Eyes." Love it, love it, love it.

Although I enjoy the whole soundtrack, "My Eyes", definitely. I still get chills when I listen to that song on the soundtrack. It is so beautiful!! When I belt it out in my car (when I sing, I have one volume: loud), I always have to play it twice in a row so I can sing both of Penny and Billy's parts in the third verse.
But I really enjoy "Man's Gotta Do", "Freeze Ray", and "Brand New Day" too, and I really love to annoy my Whedon-ite best friend by breaking out into the "Bad Horse Chorus"es randomly (My favorite is just to sing, "Bad Horse, bad horse, bad horse, he's bad!" right before a lecture class like Philosophy, so she has it stuck in her head for the whole hour).
Man, I love the soundtrack. Picking a favorite is easy, and yet, so hard.

Have to go with "My Eyes" . . . I love the harmony when Penny and Billy start singing together. Though I also agree with Haunt--the reprise of "Bad Horse" makes the best ringtone.
