There hasn't been a thread about this episode yet?

I thought that this was a fantastic episode. We see the fate of the Dollhouse. And in the coming season(s), we will hopefully be treated to what lead up to it.

Having been in a very inebriated state while watching it, I'll have to re-watch it again to better remember and understand the episode. From what I remember though, Felicia Day was greatly cast. And me and a friend kept thinking that the male 'lead' in the future was the red headed Sherminator kid from American Pie. Some IMDB'ing debunked that myth.

As to why it wasn't aired, I'll never understand. Great Episode!!!

Yeah, this is easily the best episode so far. I just watched it again this morning and was blown away all over again. From the more naturalistic, visceral camerawork to the tantalizing peeks at the future (or at least the possible future), it's fantastic.

The scene with Topher and Adelle near the end absolutely destroys me, and how touching is it that they end up developing that kind of relationship?

I absolutely agree with you guys. It was an incredible episode. I even tweeted that my mind was blown on several occasions during the duration of this episode. I watched the commentary and I never knew that the future scenes were filmed with video, while the "present" scenes were done with film. I loved that concept. I was nearly brought to tears during the Topher/Adelle scene. It broke my heart to see Topher get destroyed by his own inventions. This episode is why Topher is my new favorite character, because I learned that he isn't going to be static in his arrogent ways. Felicia Day was wonderful in it too. She really made the future experience more human, since she had a harder time controlling her emotions than the rest of the crew. Amy Acker's performence was totally spine chiling, and kind of sad too. :\ Nonetheless, the episode was brilliant. I'm pretty sure its up there in my favorite episodes list of all time.

In addition to a brilliant episode which can stand multiple viewing, the song "Remains", written and sung by Maurissa & Jed is so beautiful and haunting, I play it all the time on myiTunes.

I know this is a slightly old topic, but just wanted to say how awesome this episode was! I thought it was done very well. I esp loved Amy Acker's part in it.
