I'm so anxious to go, I've been facing the direction of San Diego every day. I'm sure good summer movies will distract me, but that won't happen for another week.
I will say that on Comic-Con Friday, I will be wearing a blue jump suit and helmet with a red "G" on it. That's because of what could be a very big deal that night.

Isn't that the costume of Super-Grover?

I'm going and excited to see/meet some fan friends. I live in San Diego so if you have any questions about getting around or the area that your potential hotel is in, feel free to ask; I'd be happy to help.
Bix, when you say "upper end of the green line" are you meaning Santee? I hop on the trolley around SDSU and can tell you that it takes about an hour to get to the convention center because you have to switch trains at Old Town. San Diego hasn't really accomplished fast, efficient mass transit yet, though we are making progress. What seems like only a few miles and might take only 15 minutes in a car, can take an hour on the Trolley. So if you are in Santee that is another 20 or so minutes added to my trip. Just something to take into consideration. Again, any questions or if you want me to scope out a place, I'd be happy to do so.
Can't wait!

When I say "green line" I mean the Comic-Con Shuttle green line.

Oh good, that makes more sense. Hadn't even seen the shuttle map. Glad you found a place nearby!

Bought a new camera today. Comic-Con will be faced with my new Nikon D300 with 18-200mm VR lens.

Anyone here that is going also on Twitter? So I can live vicariously through you to ease my all consuming envy?

I'm on Twitter but that won't do you any good since I have neither a laptop computer or a cell phone that works in the US!
